Lady in Leather

Published on January 15, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

The Wowster on a top newscaster who struts her stuff as the lady in leather.

Emily Maitlis, take note of that name, she is going places, even if only as a lady in leather.

For she is a serious broadcaster who doesn’t mind strutting her stuff.

If you don’t like it, look elsewhere she recommends, maintaining that a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do.

Her strut-your stuff approach comes into its own on Newsnight, BBC’s flagship news roundup, an approach that has raised a few eyebrows and rattled a few hackles.

But she is unfazed if a little disappointed that all the attention should be on her tight leather pants and high heels rather than her incisive interviewing techniques. Eh?

The lady is kidding herself methinks. And also methinks long may it continue
