Demented Demi

Demented Demi Moore’s last role? A real life self destruct, says The Wowster

Demi Moore is a tragedy waiting to happen. Dysfuntional and haggard with age and dieting self abuse, she is in hospital once again.

I don’t know the woman, but she has become a poster girl for the remnants of the Eighties which she once ruled in super star mode.

Then when she hit her thirties came the car crash, she suddenly stopped making good movies and began selling her body to the Paparazi, seeming to seek reassurance she was still hot.

For a while she was in a negative way, an aggressive archetype of a woman in crisis seeking love through sex. It was painful to behold. The years seemed to mesh into each other. First Bruce Willis then Ashton Kutcher, becoming a frightening icon for desperate women.

Today she is in hospital with what looks quite serious. As I say I don’t know her. What I do know is she is very needy for adoration on her own terms.

That’s not going to happen, Demi. You need to be who you are, a woman approaching her fifties who is still a good actor and, it would seem, a decent mother.

That way you have a chance of pulling through. The alternative doesn’t seem thinking about.
