Out of disorder. Chris Leeming on comics fan fury

DC comics have angered their fans so badly that they will probably morph into some new form of comic book bad guy

Changing of the old guard
The reason comes out of disorder. DC will be relaunching all of its comic book series in the next month.

And all of the familiar characters from the DC Universe, including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, will be going through a reboots.

Old heroes, new tricks
The scale of the endeavour is quite something; 52 ‘first’ editions are to be released within a month, starting with the first Justice League .

The workload is being met by 52 new creative teams who will attempt to retell the stories of DC’s famous characters in fresh and exciting ways.

E-Fury
The move is a bold one, inciting a lot of heated debate on comic book forums. Many are furious that DC could potentially ruin their favourite characters.

They feel their favourite story lines will no longer fit in this new universe and it all come down to nothing.

Perhaps someone should write them a graphic guide to fiction?
