Who’s a clever boy, then, asks The Wowster?
Your dog might be a much more clever boy than you think.
For instance it should be able to read an adult’s mind and understand as much as toddlers.
But it ain’t your masterful or mistressful voice that does the business.
The biggest aid to good bow pow wow communications is eye contact, as important if not more than spoken commands.
In terms of eye contact, a dog is advanced as a two year child, a study reports.
There is increasing evidence which suggests dogs and humans share some social skills, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences suggests.
For the dog’s sake, we hope not too many.
