The Wowster on why Mitt Romney 2012 may be too electable for the Republican supporters

The politics of the madhouse has descended on the Republican party with Mitt Romney 2012 being too electable to be elected by Republicans to face Obama.

Try as he might, the once almost certainty keeps seeing the crown being taken away from him by one Republican kook or another from the hairy chest tendency.

It would seem the Republican caucuses are very reluctant to take Romney to their bosoms, they’d rather drink from the milk of an unelectable extremist.

The latest in the parade of kooks to kick dust in Romney’s hopes is the relatively moderate Rick Santorium but he’s enough of a no hoper to capture the support of the Republican grass roots.

Romney has tried his hardest to present as tough right wing Republican but keep within electability, an almost impossible trick with a Party that would rather go down like Custer than respectably lose, as Romney is likely to do, to Obama.

Nothing to lose is the battle cry as it now looks as if Obama could be facing a character from comic cuts, although Romney is still the most likely, but only just.
