Horse Manure (by the master)

Published on January 14, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

The Wowster on the latest horse manure by the great tear duct orchestrator of modern cinema.

Steven Spielberg is the great tear duct orchestrator of modern cinema and is prepared to use whatever horse manure is at hand to do just that.

Hi latest example of the art is War Horse an at least seven tissue gem by the old master.

But hey, if you don’t like being Spielberged with a surfeit of sentimentality set to the manipulative swoop of violins then stay clear, it will definitely not be for you.

But if you relish sinking into the lachrymose you will really enjoy this sweep of a first World War epic as seen through the labours of a war horse and the impact he has on those that came across him,  of mainly death and suffering.

Redolent of the that other master helmer, John Ford, this is a worthy addition to the Spielberg canon so go, enjoy and cry baby cry.
