The World 2012

Published on December 31, 2011 by   ·   No Comments

The Wowster looks at the shape of things to come worldwide.

Obama will win the next election but it will result in further gridlock as America’s economy grinds deeper into the mire with world despairing of them ever achieving a settled budget.

The Euro crisis will continue with it’s predicament continuing to frighten the West.

Syria will descend into civil war with Assad falling as Egyptian hopes of moe democracy begin to evaporate after elections.

Israel will become more isolated as it’s neighbours become more democratic.

Sarkozy will be defeated by Socialist candidate Francois Holland in the next election as Antonis Samaris becomes the most likely victor of the next Greek election.

Eyes of the world will be on the Olympics as Slumdog genius Danny Boyle conjures up an Olympic opening unequalled in artistic flair. No austerity Olympics there then.

A world in crisis
