End Of The World 2012

The Wowster on why the English treat a bit of snow like the end of the world 2012.

Here we go again. The south of England gets some crap, freezing weather and it’s the end of the world 2012.

Even a flake of snow has been known to stop the entire English rail network.

I don’t want to be accused of gloating but the weather is actually not too bad where we are for a change. Cold, yes, but nothing to write home about.

In England it’s a bit colder  and the entire country screeches to a halt with cries of it’s the beginning of the end of decent weather.

Actually it’s been colder than normal down south with around 2C and now ice is the problem. In other words, no big deal.

If this is as bad as it gets, someone needs to tell them the world will survive a bit longer and save some of their worry for the summer where no doubt it will be the hottest…well for at least three years.

The crisis in full flow…
