Nathan Goldberg has found a website that promises to kit him out like er, well, oh just read on…
So you want to be like a celebrity? Have the style and panache of em, er mmmmmm….
Now’s your chance. A new e-commerce site with celebrity clothing lines has launched which allows your to dress the part. It’s called YouCeleb and offers up to 70% off on designer fashion that the famous wear.
YouCeleb works with the celebrity, what they wear and gives you the deals. How it works is a bit like Groupon. You fill out your payment information and you don’t pay anything until a minimum group order is met.
Don’t like celebs, particularly not lining their already swollen pockets? Don’t worry, the profits a celebrity receives would go to the charity of their choice (so we’re told).
The website is working with a wide range of brands, already 100 or so have stepped up to the mark.
YouCeleb entrepreneur Amit Dharmani would not be specific about the celebrities he had on board, but claimed to have a number of actors, musicians and athletes.
Would you kill for Charlie Sheen’s coke and semen stain resistant trousers or Jordan’s short skirt for getting out of cars in celebrity clothing lines? Perhaps you’ll be lucky.
For the rest of us, well, possibly we’ll just have to live without as befits tough times.
Here’s your chance to comment on YouCeleb. Is it just part of a shallow, trashy celebrity culture, or do the celebrity clothing lines sound good fun? You decide.
Nathan Goldberg is wowdewow CEO and publisher, which is all the celebrity status anyone could ever need
