Off to the Zoo With You

Published on January 14, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

Off to the zoo with you. The Wowster reports on latest answer to obesity.

Off to the zoo with you, is the latest cry de ceur from physicians no longer able to cope with the obesity epidemic.

Patients over 30 stone in order to be scanned properly could be sent to zoos which have CT scanners able to do the job.

The request has gone out as hospitals face pressure to adapt beds to cater for obese patients.

The zoo and vet college scanners are the only ones able to cope with 30 stone people but say they would need to get a special licence to deal with humans.

While the NHS has built a wall of denial, one doctor has claimed he was told to send very obese patients to London Zoo which is also in denial.

Cue hyenas laughing…

…at tight squeezes like this…
