Lynn Tulloch reports on the funeral of the inspirational Harry Moseley.
HARRY MOSELEY was a huge inspiration not just to me but many others also. At 11 years old, Harry taught me many things that I didn’t know at 40. Harry taught me all about brain cancer and determination, his mum Georgina taught me about hope and faith. Together they were a super partnership.
Diagnosis
In 2007 Harry was diagnosed with a brain tumour and instead of sulking and demanding Transformers toys, he set to work to help others. Harry was inspired by Robert Harley who was having the same treatment at the same time, it was then that Harry decided he should help others as well and Help Harry Help Others was set up.
Selflessness in pursuit of hope
Harry began making bracelets and in 2009 he won “Britain’s Kindest Kid” but it didn’t stop there, since then Harry has raised over £500,000 for Cancer Research.
Glowing endorsement
I feel very proud to have been part of Harry’s twitfam, sometimes to have known someone for a short time is better than to have never known them at all and Harry fits into that category very well.
Momento mori
I love bracelets and I have one that I got from my friend Harry. When it is dark, my bracelet glows, it shows me the way to the light switch. It reminds me of Harry, without him, I would still be in the dark about brain cancer.

Here you can cast a vote for Harry to get a star on Broad Street, Birmingham. It would mean so much to Shaz Murphy and Harry’s Other Helpers that often go unnamed in the great work that they are doing to keep his legacy alive.
Thank you
