The Wowster reviews an all-terrain car that can really take you places…even by sea
Bored travelling on motorways? Would like to take a spin across Antartica? How about crossing the channel by car? Literally.
Well now you can have everything. A Chinese inventor has created an all terrain vehicle which has a top speed of 62 mph and works like a Hovercraft,
Yuhan Zhang, 21, has helped create the awesome Volkeswagen Aqua which can travel on tarmac, sand, ice, even water.
It has a cool design with four fans and integrated airbags that help it hover.
One of the motors inflates a skirt round the car to help lift it while the other does the driving.
The cost? “Well I hope it will become affordable,” says Yuhan, “because it travels equally well over land, ice and water.”
Needless to say, it is environmentally friendly, being powered by a hydrogen fuel cell with zero emissions.
So what about it, Volkswagen, why are we waiting?
For those who won’t be able to afford it, a glimpse at an all terrain cycle
