Sir Fred Bare. But is he worried, asks the Wowster?

To be honest Sir Fred never quite sounded right. But of course that is not why he is now Fred Bare stripped of his knighthood.

The main reason may be piggy banker Fred Goodwin is about to face charges because the only time a knighthood has been removed in the past was when the titled one was facing serious charges and or convicted.

It’s not for sure, but if it isn’t, knowing Fred he won’t give a stuff, he’s got the money and people will still call on his services.

Mind you, Sir Oswald Moseley never lost his knighthood although he threatened to turn Britain into a Nazi state. Probably he was saved by the crypto fascist royal family of the time.

Yet Fred is to lose his. For what? Making a barrowload of money for RBS when the sun was shining.

I’ve no doubt rich brats Cameron, Clegg and Osborne all made a tidy sum again when the sun was shining.

Like Fred, I don’t give a stuff if he loses his knighthood, only if he is about to get the punishment he so richly deserves. But he is not the only one who should be in that particular dock.
